It is hygroscopic. Purity Rancidity—Diastase has no unpleasant or rancid odor, and has no unpleasant or rancid taste. (ii) Sample solution—Weigh accurately about 0.1 g of Diastase, and dissolve in water to make exactly 100 mL.
