标题: 手把手教你翻译英语药品说明书

英语药品说明书由以下12项内容组成，大多数英语药品说明书结构基本相同。

1. Pakage Insert (Insert) 说明书 2. Drug Name (Medicine) 药品名称

3. Description 性状 4. Action 作用

5. Indication 适应症 6. Contraindications 禁忌症

7. Precaution 注意事项 8. Side Effects 副作用

9. Dosage and Administration 剂量和用法 10. Dacking 包装

11.Expiry 失效期 12. Manufactring Date (Manu.date)出厂日期

13.Reference 参考文献

药品名称

一、英语药品说明书一般用商品名，由生产厂家向该国政府有关部门申请注册正式名称，受该国政府法律保护，在药品名称的右上角有个R的符号，意思是已经申请注册的法定名称，不可随意改变名称。R=Recive

在药品之后有时Issued to(for) the Medical profession only短语，意：仅供医界参考。

例：Mobic R Issued to(for) the medical prfession.

二、译法：分四种译法

1. 音译：按英语读音用相应的汉字译出

例： Mobic 莫比可 Rifampicin 利福平

2. 意译：按药品名称各组成部份的英语意义译成汉语

例： Streptomycine 是由Strepto和mycine组成，其中Strepto(链球状)，mycine(霉素)，则按英语意思，译成：链霉素。因此必须掌握大量前、后缀，才以准确翻译，此种译法多数是抗生素类药物。

Nitroglycerine 由Nitro(硝基)+glycerin(甘油)组成，则意为硝酸甘油

Aminophylline由Amino+phylline 译:氨茶碱

3. 音意并译：按英语药名组成，前面部份按音译，后面部份按意译。

例：Kanamycine由Kama(卡那)+mycine(霉素)组成，按前音后的方法，译为卡那霉素。

Gentamycine由Genta+mycine 译为庆大霉素。

4. 谐意译法：按英语发音，用相应的汉语的音译出，尽可能用汉字表达出药品的作用。

例：Reserpine 利血平

药品的性状 Description

药物性状包括：化学结构，理化性质，药理特性及作用等。

1. 化学结构：有专业书刊、文献、专业资料可查。

国内：《新编药物学》《实用抗菌药物学》

《英汉化学化工词汇》《英汉医学词汇》

国外： Chemical Abstracts 《美国化学文摘》

British pharmacopoeia(B.P) 《英国药典》

u.s pharmarcopoeira (U.s.p) 《美国药典》

2. 理化性状和药理作用:

常用英文词汇有20种：

1.colour 颜色 2.taster 味道 3.smell 气味

4.solubility 溶解度 5.composition 成份 6.ingredients 主要成份

7.formule 分子式 8.molecular weight 分子量

9.description 性状 10.property 性质

11.chemical propenty 化学特征 12.pharmacological propenty 药理特性

13. .pharmacological action 药理作用 14.pharmacology 药理

15.mode of action 作用方式 16.action 作用 17.activity 活性18.advantage 优点 19.feature 特点 20.potency 药效

例：Lobelin events a stimulant effects on the central nervous system.

洛贝林对中枢神经系统有兴奋作用。

适应范围(症) Indications

此项是说明书的重点内容，应准确理解，主要是讲对哪些细菌、病毒、疾病、症状有治疗效果或无效，尽量多记忆，也可查阅有关的专业词汇，以求准确无误。

表示方法：

1. Indication 适应症 2. Condication 适应症 3. Use 用途

4. Major indication 主要适应症 5.Action and use 作用和用途

6. Principal indication 主要适应症

例：1. …be used for(in) the treatment of … …用于治疗…

Cedilanid is used for the treatment of all forms of heant failure.

二、用法中“日”、“次”、“小时”、“公斤”(磅)、体重的译法:

5. 分…次句型：

… be divided into… 分为…

(1). …be divided into three eight－hourly doses 分为3份，每八小时一次

(2). …be divided into doses every four hours 分为若干份，每4小时一次

(3). …be divided into two daily infusious 每天分2份输注

(4). In two or three equally divided doses 分为2 或3等份

(5) 2 g per day in 2 equally divided doses 每天2克，分为2等份

6. Once a week 一周一次； Twice a week 一周二次；

Three times a week 一周三次

注意：说明书上的剂量后面紧接着是“每天几次”，指的是每次的剂量，例：Two tabelets three times a day(daily) 指的是一次2 片的剂量，凡后面紧接着是“分…份”，则指的是每日的剂量，例：This tablet divided into three eight－hourly doses,指的是一天一片的剂量，即一片分为三份，每8小时一次。

又例：100 units twice daily 每天2次，一次100单位(即每天200单位)；

One or two tablets per Kg body weight in two divided dose.

每公斤体重用1－2片，分为2等份给药。(1－2片指的是一天的剂量)。

三、给药途径：英语表达如下：

orally 口服 intracerebrospinally 脑脊管水腔给药

parenterally 肠道外给药 rectally 直肠内给药

intramuscularly 肌注 subconjunctirally 结膜下给药

intravenously 静注 loeally 局部给药

intratheeally 鞘内给药 sublinqually 舌下给药

intrapleurally 胸膜腔内给药 intragluteally 臀肌内给药

intraperitoneally 腹膜腔内给药 submucously 粘膜下给药

intraarterially 动脉内给药

四、给药对象：

adult 成年人 children (school－age children) 儿童(学龄儿童)

infants 幼儿 babies(newborn babies) 婴儿(新生儿)

women 妇女 senile patient(Gerontal patient) 老年人

常见的英语表达法：

…should be administered…

例：The medicine should be administered after meals. 本药应该饭后服用。

相似的表达法还有：

…should be injected… ; …should be given…; …should be swalled….

给药方式有时用：It is advisable to give… 最好给…

例：It is advisable to give 100 mg every 8 hours 最好是每8小时给100mg.

It is recommended that the needle be inserted slowly. 最好缓慢注入(射)。

“遵照医嘱”英语表达法：

1. Under medical supervision. 在医生的监督下

2. By the presseription of a physician. 根据医生的处方

3. According to a physician’s supervision. 按(内科)医生的监督下

4. To adhere to the instruetion of the physician. 遵照医嘱

5. On the prescription of a physician. 按医生的处方

副作用和停药

一、副作用的英语表达法：

after effects 副作用 side effect 副作用

by－effects 副作用 adrerse reactions 不良反应

side reaction 副作用

副作用多是指症状或体征，查专业词典。

二、停药：

discontinue; abandon; cessation; suspend; stop; withdraw; terminate.

例：If bleeding appear the medicine should be stopped at once.　

如果出现出血现象，立即停药。

三、“毒性”、“耐受性”英语：

toxicity 毒性；　 toxicological information 毒性；　tolerance 耐受性。

禁忌症　contraimdication　

一、禁忌对象指下列情况：

pregnant woman 孕妇　　　　　during pregnancy 　　妊娠期间

early infancy 哺乳期　　　　　lactation　　　　　　哺乳期

the finst 3 months　妊娠头三个月　the early months of pregnancy 妊娠头几个月 during pregnancy and pnerleium　　妊娠和产褥期

二、“过敏”英语表达法：

1. allergic (anaphylactic reaction) 　有过敏反应（者）

2. hypersensitive to … 对…（药物）过敏

三、心、肝、肾疾病的英语表达法：

Cardiac insufficiency 心功能不全

Kidney disease and/or impairment of renal function.

Liver parenchyma (希) damage.

包装和贮存

一、包装英语表达法：

packing (package、packs) 包装

presentation form of administration 保管

supplied (how supplied) availability 保存

mode of issue packing for hospital 医院包装

forms of issue supply for export 出口包装

package for use commercially available packs 市场包装

二、剂型英语表达法：

tablets(sugar－coated tablets) 片剂（糖衣片）　　　drageas　　糖衣片　　

tablets(sconed tablets)　　　　片剂（刻痕片）　　　injections 注射剂

solution 　溶液剂　　ampoules　安培　 syrup　糖浆剂 capsules　胶囊剂

三、贮存条件：

一、失效期：

二、批号：

三、制造和出厂：由…制造

made in…; produced by…; manufactuned(manfd. Mdd.)by…

四、公司和国名

Co. Co=company , corponation, 公司；Ltd. LTd.=Limited 有限

例：Glaxo Wellcome Co LTd 葛兰素威康有限公司。

世界各国化学公司的名称，英语表示方法是经各国政府有关部门注册的，拼写方法是全世界统一的，译成汉语按统一的规定汉语名称，可查专业词典。

五、国名：

The United state of America; England; Japan; Germany; Switzerland;

Italy; France; Hungry; Poland ……
